TAG Heuer embraces its racing stripes with TAG Heuer Carrera Fangio, inspired by Argentine race car driver Juan Manuel Fangio.
The dial presents a retro racing aesthetic, with a sporty blue and white stripe contrast against a black background, reminiscent of a 1950's race car. Hour, minute and second sub-dials are featured at 6, 9 and 12 o'clock on the dial and bring the image of a sportscar dashboard to mind. The date is shown through a silver accented window at 3 o'clock, whilst white and silver batons are in place as watch markers. The tachymeter gives a nod toward Juan Manuel Fangio, in the form of his renowned autograph.
The energetic face of the watch is set against a subdued black leather strap detailed with blue stitching, making the extraordinary timepiece stand out even further. The Carrera Fangio was created with race car enthusiasts in mind.
